It's the turn for Combination Skin

Combination skin has patches of both dry and oily skin, and it requires different types of care in relation to particular facial areas.
Dry zones, which are usually located on the cheeks and around the eyes, should be treated with rich creams and moisturizers, while oily areas, usually on the forehead and nose, will benefit from frequent and thorough cleaning.
A friend of mine read my previous post and ask me whether it's suitable for her to use the two products if she have combination skin.
Yep. The two products is suitable but, the amount used is different in different areas.
Both the dry and greasy areas need moisturizing, but the oily part need just a thin layer while the dry part you may apply a thicker layer..

For combination skins, we should use facial cleanser with less soap (gel type) or foam because in the early morning, because our skin is not too dirty or oily when we wake up. If we use facial foams, the natural sebum secreted by our skin will be washed off, which may cause dryness and tightness to our skin.
As for the night, we may use foams because after the whole day, our skin will trap a lot of dust and dirts in our pores. Foams and bubbles can help us wash them out thoroughly.

Dry Skin Solution O(∩_∩)O

Dry skin can easily develop a sickly yellowish tone, wrinkles, and fine pores, and it is very prone to aging and irritating. It might still look great on a young person, but, to keep it healthy, you should apply thorough care and use regular treatment with natural masks and moisturizers.

Simple tips:

Moisturize it right away.

Garnier Aqua Defense Essence
Price is around RM20 only!

This essence is light and can be absorb by our skin quickly.
I read some reviews and they said they even use it as mask. (put a big scoop and scatter on face and leave it for 15-20mins, nearly all absoarb, the excess one, massage them onto ur face).

This one is more expensive.
Price is around Rm50++.

Hydro Boost Water Gel restores skin’s moisture levels by more than 200%, providing not only immediate replenishment but also hydration that lasts up to 12 hours, for soft, supple skin with a healthy glow.

Next Tips!
try not to wash it with tap water since it often contains chlorine, fluoride, and other undesirable chemicals. Instead, use cold mineral water or ice made with it, or, better, clean your face with an alcohol-free cleaning lotion, toner, or cosmetic milk, made of natural ingredients.
Or some face wipes.

Skin Type

Do you know what is your skin type?

There're basically 5 skin types.. From normal to dry, oily, combination skin or sensitive skin.

How to determine your own skin type?
To determine your type, use a simple test with a clean facial tissue (or paper) to wipe your face in the morning, when you have just woken up..

Normal Skin …

If you skin belongs to a normal type, the tissue will not reveal any traces of oil. Your skin should feel vibrant, elastic, and supple. Normal skin is the least problematic type.

Dry Skin …
If your skin is dry, the paper will be clean, too, but your face skin will feel flaky, dry, and tight after you have wiped it.

Oily Skin …
If you have oily skin, the paper will have spots of facial oil on it, corresponding to the areas of your cheeks, nose, and forehead. Oily skin is problematic – it usually looks greasy, thick, coarse, and shiny, has enlarged pores, and tends to break into acne.

Combination Skin …

If you skin is combination, like that of most women, the tissue will have traces of oil coming from your nose and forehead, but will be clean in the areas that touched your cheeks.

Sensitive Skin …
Sensitive skin is usually very dry, tends to feel tight, and becomes inflamed and irritated easily. Typically, sensitive skin develops reddish and scaly areas, can be itchy and tingly, and is prone to breaking into spots. It is the most problematic and fragile type of skin, which needs a very special type of care.
